2026 Alamance County Elections

Candidates for the Alamance-Burlington School System Board of Education and the Alamance County Board of Commissioners were invited to respond to questionnaires on issues facing our community. Their responses are published here in full and without editing to help voters learn about the candidates and make informed decisions.

This project is intended to provide voters with factual information about local candidates and does not endorse or oppose any candidate or political party. All candidates were invited to participate. Candidate pages indicate whether a response was received.

This year, we have expanded the project to include additional local and state races, including candidates for the North Carolina Senate, North Carolina House, District Attorney, and Sheriff. All candidates in these races have been invited to participate, and responses will be published after the questionnaire response period has closed.
